    Good morning,

I managed to get photographs of practically all pages of the first book of deaths (approx 40 years, 232 page) from the parish cemetery in Dąbrówka Mała / Popieluszko street, Katowice.

Unfortunately, I don't have any time, to read and index it yourself! 🙁

Does it make sense to put it somewhere (where?)? Are there people here, which are hobbyist indexers of material provided by others? Or rather, if I can't index it myself, does it make sense to put it anywhere?

    Thanks for the answer

    Hello!

What years does this index cover? I would be potentially interested.

    Regards

My collection has 228 photos / pages and covers the period almost exactly 50 years:

    • from April 1937 r.
    • do of December 1986 r.

    Among these 228 photos:

    • 2 are damaged,
    • 17 is partially out of focus / low quality,
    • the remaining 209 seems ok,
    • 0 is after OCR, prescribed, indexed, etc.

I uploaded the files to my Google Drive:

    • whole w ZIPie (314 MB): here
    • in bulk individual JPG files: here

    Hallo Serafin,

Unfortunately, I don't speak German. That's why I use Google Translate.

Here is a working link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-PkuWoWZe6_7HbGvFWWxjPcaFBcqzsTo/view?usp=sharing

    Good morning,

The burial in this book is divided into “by” Does anyone know where I can find field no 11? Is there a map at the entrance to the cemetery?

    Regards

During my last “genealogy” visits to this cemetery (before the pandemic, two years ago) and over the past 35 I don't know any map, or even plaques dividing the cemetery into certain sectors, groups etc. The entries in the book of burials I scanned are often even entries of the type “old cemetery”, “new cemetery”, which do not correspond to any plaques and divisions in the cemetery.

Luckily, The cemetery is run by very friendly people, friendly and willing to help people. All you have to do is visit them on any day (preferably during the week)., do 12:00) and either meet in person or call the telephone number on the front door (the building in the central part of the cemetery). I'm sure, that unless they have ten burials at the same time, they will certainly indicate the exact location of the grave.

Good morning, unfortunately the links stopped working. Is it possible to access these scans somewhere? Thank you and best regards. MK

@makkuro No “stopped working”, only an idiot (that's me!) deleted them! 🙂

    I posted it again:

And I left myself a note, don't delete it! Have a nice day! 🙂

@trejder although a few other people named Brzozok appear there 🙁, thank you!

Seems to, that I found the place where my great-great-great-grandmother died.

Have a nice day too :)
