    Greetings from France!
Hello Konrad. I see you have a family member from Kozmice, Osmanczik.
In my family tree there is PAULUS OSMANCZIK married to Catharina who has a daughter, ANNA. Born in 1761 in Kosmice. Anna has a brother, Jacob. And there are three other children. Anna later marries SiMEON KASPAR. Anna is the founder of my maternal line. And your family there?

Hopefully after such a long time gone by that posted here, you are still interested in telling me more.

    Hello Marie.
I am always interested in the search for ancestors, it's hard to get over it. more ad rem… “Ma” part of the Osmanczyk family, walks at the end of the 17th century. I must admit, however, that I have not particularly applied myself to this branch of my ancestors until now. The Osmanczyks are in my maternal line, which slowly moved from the Czech part of Silesia to Upper Silesia. However, nothing prevents me from examining them more closely. Especially since, thanks to you, I am now more motivated. I have several copies of the metric books from this region, so i will do some more research. My branch descends from Georg Osmanczyk, aka Osman (as it was sometimes spelled), born around 1647 and died in Kozmich in 1717. So we have a gap of about 40 years. I am happy to see that we have the same ancestors. We just have to find them 😉
    Warmest regards,
    Konrad

    Hello Konrad,

Thank you for the great information!
I may come with my search for Catharina Osmanczik, born to the mother of Anna Osmanczik 1761 in Kozmice, refuse.

Georg Osman (czik) born 1647 in Kozmice ?? In which church book did you find him?
    died 1717 in Kozmice.
How many people lived in Kozmice at that time? One can assume that, that the Osmanczik were ALL related there?

    I found the following information:
There was a Joseph Osmanczik 1761 in Hlucin. He was named as a godfather in the church registers.
    Further:
Paulus Osmanczik from Kozmice married (when, where?) Catharina (parents' names are missing. Catharina had a daughter, Anna Osmanczik.
Anna Osmanczik 1761 later married Simeon Kaspar in Kozmice and had a daughter, Dorothea (born 1789). This Dorothea Kaspar married 1810 Josephus Dudek in Darkowitz and later had another daughter, Catharina Kaspar born 1786. Catharina Kaspar later married a man named Bulla.

I found an indication in the old church registers, which can be interesting:
1716 a Catharina Osman was born in Jilesovice, and the parents were Jacobus Osman and Marina.

If you, Konrad, could help me and confirm or correct some data?

    Thank you very much!

    Marie

    Hello

Konrad an interesting list of names.
Ciupka and Gierczuch - Gliwice , they are also my ancestors

Stephetius, the surname is a bit controversial. Most entries in a different handwriting do not match the other entries, almost always at the beginning or end of a page or forcibly typed between other entries…

“Please contact me, we have common ancestors from the Zgraja line. Our common ancestor was Johannes Zgraja, who was Bernard's father, whose son Lucas was. “

    Hello Konrad,
a little late I can reply to your message. Thanks for the news! What is the correct name of the family: Sgraja or Zgraja? Are you also from Matzkirch? Our common relative was called Johanna Zgraja, Born on the 02.10.1854 in Matzkirch, Marriage to Franz Ksienzyk on 10.10.1882; they lived in Dobroslawitz. Unfortunately I only know one child (my great-grandmother); A lot of children were normal back then –> do you know more?
    greetings
