G. Mühlenhoff15 May 2016 at 18:05 #9246Artur PaczynaUserThe street name refers to the well-known Polish national activists in Radzionków:
John and Paul Pietrygów. They were sworn activists Polish Military Organization (1919). Paul Pietryga was also a member of Polish Plebiscite Committee on the district tarnogórski, chief radzionkowskiego Gymnastic Society “Falcon”. In the interwar period he was a civil servant, Paul Pietryga. In September 1939 year, based on the book Göncz, Paul Pietryga was sought arrest warrant as dangerous to Nazi Germany, national activist. It should be added, that Pietrygowie were also councilors of the Municipal Council (1930). Byli to Szczepan Pietryga i – after the resignation of Augustine Letochy – Augustyn Pietryga.

15 May 2016 at 19:14 #9247Artur PaczynaUserWhat to Radzionków and former street Szarlejskiej, This according to me, she ran down the street Nałkowskiej between today's street Chute and Hajdy, then bounced to the left, further runs under a non-existent today viaduct, near the train station “Szarlej”, continue ran between Szarlejka and today's street Podmiejska until Szarlej.
Portions of this street preserved as access to the company: Service shaft, Kebab House in Copenhagen.
