I started looking for my ancestors. My great-great-great-grandmother Marianna's father was named Casimir Opara. Recently I found in church records when he got married and what his father's name was (Laurenz Opara). But I can't find out when he was baptized and what his mother's name was.

Kazimierz Opara is born 26 brand 1827 year in Nakło Slaskie, there was a baptism 26 brand 1827 year in the parish in Zyglin. Father is Lorenz Opara and mother is Jadwiga Michalik. Lorenz Opara gets married to Jadwiga Michalik 29 October 1821 in the parish in Zyglin.

My ancestor Casimir Opara was the son of Laurenz Opara, a never Lorenz.

Casimir Opara got married 5 February 1849 year Radzionkowie. I don't know his date of birth or baptism, but I assume it was in years 1810-1830 you have to look for it. Only thing I know, that his father was Laurenz Opara. I am attaching a file informing when Casimir Opara's wedding took place and his father is mentioned there.

Lorenz, Laurent, Laurentz, Laurel, Wawrzyniec are the same names and are spelled differently

The marriage certificate states that Casimir is the son of Laurenz from Nakło. This is the one I wrote to you about. It's the same with the name Barbara, Basia, Basienka, Katarzyna, Catherine, Kasia, Kathe. Files used to be written either in Latin, German or Russian, it depends on the region.
