I have looked through the Skorowidze USC, I have looked through geneteka for Lendzin older metrics and increased the search area, and ordered all the ‘Jan Glos’ deaths in the Lendzin USC (which isn’t digitised but indexed) but these don’t match who I am looking for. I know that he died before 1908 as it mentions in a marriage certificate for his son that they are a dead couple, ‘verstorbenen Eheleute’. They lived in Gollawietz, Goławiec and this is maintained in future documents mentioning the couple. His wife was Marie Szendera and she possibly died 1888. He was born 1824 in Wygorzelle. His last child was born in 1870.
Is it possible he died in battle? Am I missing something?
What might be the reason his death certificate/ mention of death is seemingly not there?
