Some time ago I received a birth certificate for one of the younger brothers of my grandmother, a great uncle A copy of that document is included below. As you can see at the bottom of that document are two entries for the claim of fatherhood for two female children, one born in Krakow 1.9.1942 and second born in Warsaw 13.3.1943. There seems to be a record number noted for each of these births. These two births are a little over eight months apart so it seem possible or likely that two different mothers were involved.

My great uncle Bruno Kolassa was part of the German occupation forces in Poland during WW2. I have a telephone book entire that places him in Warsaw in 1941.

My question to this forum takes us away from Silesia but I’m hoping for some help. Can anyone offer a suggestion regarding how or where I might look to find the birth documents for these two children of Bruno?

    Thanks for your help.
    Richard
