    Ciao

I hope you are all well under these awful times.

I have hit a two year brick wall searching for the parents of Ferdinand Baingo (my great great grandfather) 12 DEC 1826? – 10 JAN 1911 Upper Silesia (Laurahutte, near Katowice) –

I have found a newspaper notice regarding his death.
    Ferdindand Baingo death-10-jan-1911.jpg

(see more info – via Erwin Baingo – my grandfather )

I know he was living in Laurahutte in 1899 when his daughter was married.

    Best wishes

A few comments to your website and data.

February 10, 1911 is not the date of Ferdinand Baingo’s
    death.
According to the announcement, February 10, 1911 is
the date set in the court to resolve the inheritance case after the
    deceased Ferdinand.
The announcement is in the official newspaper of the city of Katowice
'Kattowitzer Kreisblatt’ on November 12, 1910, so Ferdinand died
    before that date.

    in act from 1899:
… daughter of Ferdinand, a merchant who died in Laurahutte

    Maria’s marriage:
    28.10.1891
Johann Paul Schychowsky (Gross Strehlitz, sohn of Adam and Pauline Strzodka)
Marie Baingo (Laurahütte Kreis Kattowitz, Daugther of Ferdinand and
    Marie Bobczyk)
act no. 68/1891 Siemianowice Śląskie – Huta Laura USC

    From Max Baingo’s marriage act:

    Beuthen O/S 14-sep-1886

    1. Restaurateur Maximilian Baingo
    born 03-feb-1859 Laurahutte
    inhabited Beuthen O/S

    Parents:

    Baingo Sophia 106/1884
    Baingo Caroline 62/1881
    Baingo Antonia 103/1876

So make change on yours data, f.e. 'Maria Baingo (birth name… Patyak
    – Maria Patyak)’ not Patyak, but Patzek, etc.

It can be assumed that Ferdinand Baingo died 1886 in Laurahutte.

Original death act of Ferdinand Baingo is located in Archiwum
    Państwowe w Katowicach, https://www.katowice.ap.gov.pl/.

Akt zgonu Ferdinand Baingo nr 114/1886 USC Laurahutte.

Ferdinand’s parents should be mentioned in this act.
Try to contact the State Archives in Katowice, but contact may be
difficult, as the archive works to a limited extent due to Covid-19

That way the wall should be unbricked anyway…

    Greetings from Poland – Axee

    Pozdrawiam Bogusław.

    Hello Trischi,

maybe it’s worth doing research at Familysearch.

Pusta/Wüstenhammer belonged to the catholic parish of Tworóg:

    Otherwise search in Lublinitz:

By the way: January 10th 1911 is not the date of your great-grandfather’s death, but the date of auction of a property he left behind.

Greetings from Hamburg, where your ancestors also left their traces…

So sorry Markusik for late reply – I am in so many forums but don’t get alerts when kind users help me.

V thank you Markusik from Hamburg – Mummy would reply to you.. Hummel, Humel. (I love Hamburg – used to go every year for Christmas to visit my grandparents.

With the utterly amazing help of axee rocks I have made huge progress and found Ferdindand Baingo’s parents names. I had hit a brick wall as there was a surname change

To all of you who so kindly answer requests such as this and and so kindly help, truly thank you so much 🙂

    Keep safe
