– Piekary Śląskie Imienia NMP

Mamy dostęp do następujących lat:
– urodzenia 1800-1825, 1832-1838, 1842-1874
– śluby 1826-1829, 1832-1874 + skorowidz 1874-1921
– zgony 1832-1838

pozostałe lata są w Archiwum Archidiecezjalnym w Katowicach. Akta stanu cywilnego są w AP w Katowicach.

W czymś możemy pomóc? Można też pisać w j. angielskim lub niemieckim

Hi Mirosław,

Unfortunatly I would like to see all data and match the surname 'Słania’.
So my question is :
Is it possible to scan the entire books you have ?
Or, do you have a Excel file with the indexes (UMZ) for all range year ?

Piotrze nie mamy takich indeksów. Możemy poszukać konkretnych osób o tym nazwisku i pomóc w opracowaniu drzewa. W Piekarach mieszkają dziś osoby o tym nazwisku, ale nie wiem jak długo to nazwisko tutaj występuje. Dobrze by było gdybyś wskazał kogo szukasz.

currently we cannot publish the books from Piekary Śląskie on our website as they were only digitalized for „private” purposes by one of our members. But I plan to include Piekary Śląskie in the third phase of our digitalization project – but it will take at least several months to have these books published on our website.

As Damian has written, we can look for Slania surname in these books we have. Can you give us any starting point? Any person/date you are sure that it appeared in Piekary Śląskie?

Unfortunatly I dont have a starting point. Its difficult for me because some of my ancestors moved.

I will wait until you publish the books.
I just want to point out that both: Piekary Slaskie and Kamien are relevant for me.

Parafia Piekary Ślaskie. Na szybko odnalezione śluby osób z nazwiskiem Słania:

13.07.1857r.Johann Slania ( 26 lat) syn Franza (górnika z Kamienia) z Agnes z domu Wróbel ( 18 lat) c. Johana Wróbla -górnika z Niemieckich Piekar ( czyli Piekar Ślaskich)

10.11.1862r. Johann Słania ( 28 lat) syn Josepha Słani z (Kreszendorf) Krzeszowic? lub bardziej prawdopodobne Kreuzendorf (miejscowość chyba na opolszczyźnie) z Julianną (wdową…..)

17 .05.1863 Friedrich Słania ( 30 lat) z Marianną Wycisk ( 29)

Dokładne tłumaczenie zostawiam specjalistom;)

Hi Damien,

Thanks you for the time you past.

It s interresting for me.

I cannot connect to my ancestors up to now but later I will do it.

The only ancestors in Scharley I have is Wiktoria Słania born in 1902 (APK found the record for me) So I dont need the record in the USC Scharley (1874-1909)
The only thing interresting me is Rosa Słania the twin sister ? of Wiktoria and she died probably in 1904 (USC Piekary Slaskie)

Hi anyone

I am looking for the mariage in Piekary Slaskie of :

Jan Słania and Zuzanna between 1683 and 1685. Genealogy is sometimes feeling lucky to find record. So I am not sure to find something…

Franz Słania (1790-1834) and Marianna the 9th february 1823.
The purpose here is to read the mariage record and try to find the parents of Franz Słania. So I will be able to connect him to my common ancestor Jan Słania. If I can do that then I will connect some american Słania cousins living in Usa with me !
I have already connect Pan Pawełczyk to my tree (See tree topic)
