I was born in 1965 and grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. My father's family is mostly Irish, British, and German. My mother immigrated to the US from Germany when she was 18, and her father was originally from Beuthen/Bytom. From what I have found so far (have searched very long, but have found very little) is that her father's family (Lissok) is from Upper Silesia. I would love to find out more about my ancestors there! Please forgive me for not typing in Polish. I hope does not cause difficulty.
