This group mainly conducts its searches in the area of the Silesian Voivodeship (województwo śląskie), mentioned Stronie belongs right now to the Lower Silesian Voivodeship (województwo dolnośląskie). I know that the name of the town may be misleading. I recommend checking how Poland is divided into Voivodeships. Maybe it will make yours searches easier. Moreover… How certain is the information that it is about Stronie Śląskie?
My ancestors who left for America and other countries at the beginning of the 20th century came from Skawinki, a small village next to Lanckorona, where Stronie is also located (a similarly small village). Unfortunately, documents in this area are not available for online viewing. What’s more, it is also a different Voivodeship (małopolskie).
In this case, I can be completely wrong about the city, I just associated the Stronie due to my own research 🙂
I suggest logging in and placing information about your searches on the group https://genealodzy.pl/ which brings together the majority of people interested in their genealogical researches in Poland.
You can also search for your ancestors on the website https://geneteka.genealodzy.pl/, there are indexed records of many parishes and some of the Registry Offices (not all, but I recommend checking them to see where your surname is located in Poland).
If you have any other questions, I will be happy to help.
