    Hello,
I’m requesting assistance translating the attached, please. It seems to be a birth or baptism record. I can see and understand the following, but the rest is unclear.
    Parish: Gross Chelm
    Date: October 4, 1844
    Father: Simon Lissok
    Mother: Catharina Radwanski

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hello,
I’m not able to fully translate all the information attached in the baptism record but I can say that the priest name was Szyszkowitz (Antoni Szyszkowicz), baby’s godparents were Johann (Jan) Mendrella from Bobrek (right now its a small village in województwo małopolskie, next to Chełm Śląski and Chełmek) and Agnes (Agnieszka) Koziołek from Chełm (part of Chełm Śląski). It seems like Franz (Franciszek) died 1st of September 1845 in Gross Chełm (Chełm Wielki, name of Chełm Śląski in those years).
Simon Lisok died 1 year later and in 1847 Catharine Radwański once again get married.

    Hello Monika,

Thank you so much for translating what you could. There was uncertainty about this Franz Lissok and whether or not he was my great-great grandfather. I have since found the correct person (his brother Laurent), but it is still wonderful to know the details here.

Your name seems to be on most of the records I have been investigating (many, many in Gross Chelm). I thank you deeply for the work you have done. In the past few weeks I have found so much about my family that I never knew before. The attached shows my great-grandfather in the lower-left (shaded in black), and the rest that I was able to confirm through the records you have transcribed (painstakingly, I’m sure). My family is amazed at what I have found. I hope you know how many people are grateful for your work!

Hello, I would like to add that it is a baptism record with the date 4 October 1844, in which there is a note that the child was 'born tonight at noon’ (german: geboren heute in der Nacht um 12 Uhr).
    Greetings.

    Pozdrawiam Bogusław.
