UżytkownikHallo Helmut,
ich glaube, im Moment kriegt man im Staatsarchiv Kattowitz nur 5 Akten pro Tag – du solltest also absolut die Hypothekennummer vorher feststellen.

UżytkownikHi,
There is no death index for Zalenze for this period and I wasn’t able to find one for Bogutschütz; I manually searched both USCs in 1911.
The only hit for the surname SCHUBERT is USC Zawodzie (in the USC district of Bogutschütz) no. 528/1911: Agnes ZMARSLY née SCHUBERT, miner cripple’s widow, 83 years old, living in Bogutschütz, born in Gleiwitz, daughter of Katharina SCHUBERT (last living in Bogutschütz, married to the master shoemaker PUDALLIK), died 12 December 1911.
There are plenty of other USCs in the area, unfortunately, that you should check – Kattowitz (Stadt), Kattowitz (Schloss), Hohenlohehütte, Domb, Siemianowitz, Laurahütte, Georgshütte, Schoppinitz, Rosdzin. Kattowitz (Stadt) and Siemianowitz had hospitals.
Kind regards,
MichaelEdit: For some of the USCs, indexes/records are on szukajwarchiwach, for others, there are indexes here: https://metryki.genealodzy.pl/woj-SL

UżytkownikHallo,
welche Namen genau suchst du in Radzionkau?
Natürlich gibt es diese Unterlagen, sie sind aber nicht online zugänglich.
Amtsgericht Tarnowitz:
https://www.szukajwarchiwach.gov.pl/zespol/-/zespol/142315
https://www.szukajwarchiwach.gov.pl/zespol/-/zespol/142261
Testamente sind in den Beständen vorhanden. Zusätzlich gab es glaub ich noch Bestände von verschiedenen Notarkanzleien aus Tarnowitz.
Die Grundakten wurden in einen eigenen Bestand überführt:
https://www.szukajwarchiwach.gov.pl/zespol/-/zespol/141780
MichaelWeltenwanderer
UżytkownikHi,

UżytkownikHi,
which ones? The Protestant ones? Catholic ones? Civil ones?
http://www.christoph-www.de/kbsilesia3.htmlThe Catholic churchbooks have not survived WWII. Before 1837, you might find entries in Bodland parish churchbooks.
The Protestant ones have (in parts) survived at the Protestant church in Kłuczbork, but the pastor there doesn’t let people see them. Another part is at the Kirchenkreisarchiv in Görlitz, which you can request a search in.
The civil registers have survived, but only a small part is available through an FHC – you can request those films from Sławomir Worwąg.

UżytkownikHi,
That’s unfortunate, then. Let me know if you need anything!
Kind regards,

UżytkownikHi,
You need to request that record from AP Katowice. Silius Radicum does not have this record. The index is based on the paper index at the AP.

UżytkownikHi Andrzej,
unfortunately, it does not seem like any more churchbooks have survived. All available churchbooks have been digitalised. I also need these books.
Kind regards,
MichaelWeltenwanderer
UżytkownikHi Krzysia,
Katowice USC records are online here:
https://www.szukajwarchiwach.gov.pl/de/zespol/-/zespol/142861Of course, Katowice was a big city and the death might have been recorded at another USC, such as Bogucice, Dab, Zalęze, etc. Those are not online for this year and should be stored at the AP Katowice.
Kind regards,
MichaelWeltenwanderer
UżytkownikHi Adam,
there was apparently no age yet. I made a mistake while writing out the marriage entry – it was in 1756, not 1765.
Based on the evidence, I would assume that Mathaeus Olesch died on 19 August 1802 in Radzionków at the age of 72 and Magdalena died on 13 May 1809 in Radzionków at the age of 80. This means they would have been 26 and 27 at the time of the wedding.
Adam married Agnes Miliczek on 23 January 1803. However, the record seems to indicate that Mathaeus was still alive this year.
Valentin probably died on 29 April 1821.Kind regards,
MichaelWeltenwanderer
UżytkownikHi!
I have requested a lookup from the Diocesan Archive in Katowice and they sent me Catharina Olesch’s baptism and the marriage of her parents in full text. Apart from that, they also gave me the dates of birth of several of Catharina’s siblings. Please see below – all entries are from Radzionków parish:
