UżytkownikHi Anna,
sadly not, as there are no duplicates for the baptisms and deaths. You need to ask the Diocesan Archive in Katowice, which has the original churchbooks.

MichaelWeltenwanderer
UżytkownikHi,
Silius Radicum only has the years published on the website (sadly, most priests in southeast Silesia did not make duplicates for the full span of 1794-1874 that was required from them). The original churchbooks are at Archiwum Diecezjalne w Katowicach.
Regarding your disappearing posts, the spam filter caught them.Kind regards,
MichaelWeltenwanderer
UżytkownikHi,
Regarding your 2nd question: all Catholic churchbooks published by Silius Radicum are duplicates produced by the priest for the local district courts (Amtsgericht / Sad Obwodowy). You can usually glean that from the title page or the certification note at the end of each book or year.
The originals are kept at the parish office, but are also available on Familysearch: https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/975607?availability=Family%20History%20LibraryKind regards,

UżytkownikHi,
I have started indexing 1910-1913.

UżytkownikHi Aleksander,
Thank you for your hard work! If you happen to find the marriage of Theodor CHRISTOPH in Roźdźien- Szopienice, I would really appreciate if you could send me a scan.
I might do Katowice marriages 1910-1913. I already did 1914-1920 previously. I still have some other project to do which will take up my time for a while longer.I hope someone else will join in. Maybe post on forum.ahnenforschung.net as well? I have a German-language indexing table and guide available.
Kind regards,
MichaelWeltenwanderer
UżytkownikHi Andrzej,
it says „Karl Kałys Vorlau”; the surname Kałys was later corrected to Kalisch. The „Vorlau” is the beginning of his profession – Vorlaufer (also called Vorläufer; a labourer assisting the smelter).
Kind regards,
MichaelWeltenwanderer
UżytkownikHi Patrick,
do you have their names / dates of death?
Kind regards,

UżytkownikHello Pyjter,
consider using the Plugin „DownThemAll!” for Firefox/Chrome to download an entire churchbook at once. Better than clicking each picture one by one.
Kind regards,

UżytkownikHello,
the marriage was recorded at Gotartowice USC (Standesamt Gottartowitz), entry 13/1882.
Ask AP Racibórz (state archive) for the entry.

UżytkownikHello Artur,
if you have any lists of inhabitants or similar written research on the topic, I’d be happy to get a copy of it – my ancestors in Radzionków are
Matheus Olesch/Oleś
– his daughter Catharina * ca. 1774
– her husband Mathaeus Wilk * ca. 1763At least Mathaeus Wilk owned land in Radzionków – apparently he bought the „Reder” farm, which is why he is sometimes called Mathaeus Reder or Mathaeus Wilk alias/vulgo Reder.
Have you considered urbaria and the Caroline cadastre in your research? Especially the Caroline cadastre might be older than the oldest land records.
Kind regards,
MichaelWeltenwanderer
UżytkownikHi Darek,
the baptism would not have mentioned the parents’ age.
But yeah, those are most certainly the parents. As you can see by hovering with the mouse above the little „i” in Geneteka, Franz was born in Bobrownik and Marie was born in Rybna.Kind regards,

UżytkownikHello Jakub,
thank you for making this old book accessible again.
Best regards,
Michael -
